Wine Label: AI Scan & Journal (the "App") is a wine label identification and journaling app provided by KWD ("we", "us"). This policy applies to the App and its official website (https://kohakuwebdesign.net).

1. Information Sent for Identification

When you use AI identification, the App sends the selected wine label photo and related settings (such as the output language) to our server and to an AI service provided by Google. This data is used only to identify the wine on the label.

2. No Server Storage of Photos

Submitted photos pass through our server for processing only and are not stored on our server. Your wine records, including photos, notes, and ratings, are stored on your device and, if iCloud is enabled, in your personal iCloud account. We do not operate user accounts and cannot access your records.

3. Tickets and Purchases

In-app purchases are processed by Apple (App Store / StoreKit). We do not receive or store your payment card details. To manage your identification ticket balance, our server stores an anonymous identifier and purchase transaction records provided by Apple.

4. Feedback

If you send feedback from within the App, that content is transmitted to our feedback endpoint and used for support and product improvement.

5. Third Parties

We do not sell or rent personal information to third parties. For AI identification only, the label photo is shared with an AI service provided by Google.

6. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information handled through the service.

7. Policy Changes

We may revise this policy when necessary. The date shown on this page will be updated when changes are made.
